The job interview is an opportunity for a rewarding and informative dialogue.
The interview
The interview will give you an impression of the job and an insight into whether SimCorp is the right place for you to work.
At the same time it is our chance to assess your qualifications in relation to the specific position and determine whether there is a match between you and SimCorp - our corporate culture, norms and values and the team in which you will work.
The number of interviews conducted depends upon the type of vacancy and the number of candidates who are considered to possess the proper qualifications for the job. Most often, candidates will be invited to two interviews before being offered a position. The first interview is conducted by the recruiting manager sometimes in collaboration with an employee from the specific department or someone from the HR department. The second interview is conducted by the recruiting manager and an HR consultant.
Assessment based on the personality profile
For most positions we make use of an assessment, which is considered a supplement to the interview. This means that the assessment results will never stand alone, and the candidate will always get feedback on the assessment.
Candidates who are invited to a second interview will be asked to respond to a personality profile. We use the personality profile as a dialogue tool to help provide structure in the interview process, and the profile will never stand alone. All assessment and profiling are carried out by skilled HR professionals, and a certified HR consultant will give you feedback on your profile during the interview, as well as an opportunity to offer your comments and input in connection with the feedback. All personality profile results are treated with confidentiality.
If you are not offered a job, your personality profile is deleted immediately after closedown of the recruitment process. If you do get a job with us, we will keep your personality profile for career development purposes, until you are no longer with SimCorp.
In some cases we will ask for references in connection with the second interview. We will never contact a reference without your specific approval.
Overall assessment
Once all interviews have been completed, we will make a total assessment of the remaining candidates and, based on that evaluation, decide on a candidate who is offered the job.
