SimCorp StrategyLab rewards excellent risk management
Jun 24, 2009 - Press Release
The increasingly complex investment management environment and the current financial crisis have shown that improved risk management is crucial for financial institutions to remain competitive in ever-changing markets. SimCorp StrategyLab rewards the investment management institution that demonstrates superior accomplishments within risk management – by granting the Risk Management Excellence Award 2009.
Investment management institutions are invited to participate in an assessment of their ability to mitigate market risk, operational risk and governance risk. The assessment will be based on their achievements and developments accomplished in the period from 1 August 2008 to 31 July 2009.
An international jury consisting of well-known specialists and academics within finance, governance and risk management will evaluate the submissions, and the Risk Excellence Award 2009 will be announced on 17 September 2009, at a ceremony in Luxembourg. The result of the competition will also be announced in the October issue of the Journal of Applied IT and Investment Management.
Submission deadline is 31 July 2009. Further information at www.simcorpstrategylab.com
