The function

Your main mission will consist in supporting the implementation of SimCorp Dimension mainly using the interfacing and reporting modules (importation, extraction, datawarehouse, installation of the transactional flow). You will participate in all aspects of SimCorp Dimension implementations, including design, configuration, integration, training working closely with the Implementation team of SimCorp. Your experience gained on the software package will enable you to widen your fields of interventions on other subjects covered by the solution (Front, Risk, Middle, Accounting).

The tasks and responsibilities

  • You conduct workshops to explore client requirements working with clients and SimCorp's team to help capture, define and suggest the most adapted solutions of configuration of the software
  • You assist Simcorp's clients to model their business processes within Dimension
  • You set up prototypes to verify requirements
  • You support the client with the testing of functionality
  • You perform configuration hand-over to the client
  • You participate to implementation project meetings and escalate critical information/issues to your management
  • You deliver project reporting
  • Depending on the size of the team project, you might mentor junior consultants
  • You advise on process improvements through better use of Dimension
  • You're responsible to improve and document best practices for implementations
  • You constantly expand your knowledge of SimCorp Dimension and the clients' business in order to ensure that clients gets the optimal configuration and workflow.

The requirements

  • Graduate from an engineering school, or Master degree specialized in finance and/or financial accounting
  • Experience of at least 3 years is at custodian, an asset manager or an insurer, software vendor solution in our buy-side industry
  • Command of SQL, HTML, SWIFT, Crystal report, XML/XSL
  • Ability to manage missions with the required autonomy
  • A proven ability to think conceptually and to deliver practical results
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, to ensure deadlines are achieved
  • Excellent team-working skills
  • Fluent in French and English
  • Although the missions are mainly in Paris region, a flexibility to travel is required
