Why this role is important to us
Your main mission will consist in advising and assisting the Clients IT operations of SimCorp Dimension using your technical skills providing services for but not limited to Application Administration, Oracle skills, Batch processing, System Monitoring and assist Clients SimCorp Dimension Upgrades/Patches.
You will handle the operation of SimCorp Dimension interfaces, service platform and environments including monitoring and the management of file systems, operating systems and virtualization software.
You will support clients remotely - including direct client contact. You will participate in all aspects of operating SimCorp Dimension and will work with clients' technical teams as well as technical experts in SimCorp globally.
What you will be responsible for:
You will provide technical operational services to SimCorp's Clients
Monitor system and Batch Job processes
Apply patches and new configuration
Incident & Problem Management
Change Management Process
Support the client operations of SimCorp Dimension with technical best practice recommendations
You will be part of a global Technical Services Delivery network
You will act as 2nd line of support for our Clients
Advice on process improvements through better operations of SimCorp Dimension
Participate in operational meetings with clients for technical issues and escalate important information/issues to your management
Engage directly with Clients
What we value:
Significant experience with operating standard applications e.g. in the financial sector
Experience with at least one of the following areas: Windows Server administration, Oracle administration, PL/SQL, Scripting, XML/XSL or Virtualization (VMWare, Citrix)
Work experience in the financial sector would be an asset
