Within the Regulatory Center of Excellence, we are designing solutions to enable our clients to stay compliant based on multiple regulatory requirements. We are now expanding the core team, looking for a (Senior) Business Consultant – Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence.
Within the Regulatory Center of Excellence, you will work with experienced and respectful colleagues who are experts in providing solutions and services to SimCorp market units and clients around the world. This combination of market experience in regulations and expertise in SimCorp Dimension creates an environment of quick learning and knowledge sharing.
What you will be responsible for
Technical and business design
Build and deliver DWH/BI solutions and integration solutions for SimCorp Dimension according to client requirements
Develop Data Warehouse components (facts, dimensions, data marts), reports, BI applications and dashboards
Document and build your solutions, demo solutions and document Proof of Concept
Unit testing, preparing test cases and supporting System Integration Tests and User Acceptance Tests
Gather, understand and document the client’s technical requirements
Participate remotely in implementation projects around the world

Experience in implementation projects in relation to reporting in the FinTech sector
Experience with IT Business Analysis including requirements gathering, facilitating clarification sessions with business users
Experience in integrating IT systems and dataflows
Experience in working with SQL and relational databases (Oracle, Snowflake, Microsoft SQL)
Understanding of Data Warehousing concepts and data modeling
Experience in data analytics with dashboard and report generation background
Experience in enterprise reporting tools (SAP Crystal Reports, Qlik NPrinting or similar)
Experience with BI tools like: Qlik Sense, Power BI, Tableau, Cognos or others
Experience with XML or XBRL
Basic knowledge of investment finance (e.g. financial instruments, capital markets)
Experience with working in an international environment with daily use of English
Degree in studies related to Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Business Administration or Finance
Additional experience and skills which would be advantageous
Experience with ETL processes, data imports and exports
Experience with system testing, configuration, documentation and sharing knowledge
Understanding of cloud computing technologies (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) at fundamentals level
Understanding concepts of non-SQL databases (Microsoft Cosmos DB or similar)
Basics of Cloud Data Management Systems (like Snowflake)
Experience with XSLT and XML Schemas
Experience in consulting
Programming skills
Experience with Solvency II (Pillar 1, Pillar 3 and the TPT standard)
Pillar 1 Market Risk calculation
Pillar 3 asset-related Quantitative Reporting Templates (QRTs)
TPT format as defined by FinDatEx
