Business Consultant [German Speaking] - Operational Services

Location: Warsaw, PL

The position

We are currently looking for a Consultant to join SimCorp’s Advanced Delivery Center (ADC) in Warsaw. The ADC team support SimCorp’s Global Services in project deliveries and operational support for clients. You will be part of a team dedicated to providing operational services to one of SimCorp’s key clients in Germany.

Your responsibilities

  • Analyse and find solutions for business requirements
  • Optimize business processes in SimCorp Dimension, our market-leading investment management software system
  • Provide operational services at the customer (2nd and 3rd level support) incl. end client communication
  • Participate remotely in operational services for SimCorp’s clients in Germany
  • Support on testing integrated solutions incl. error handling
  • Collaborate with colleagues from the team and other teams (also remote)
  • Share your knowledge across the team and company


Your qualifications

  • Degree in studies related to Computer Science, Business Administration or Finance or similar qualification
  • Experience in client support/providing operational services in the FinTech sector
  • Experience with working in an international environment
  • Experience in at least one of these areas: German accounting including hedge accounting, German regulatory reporting plus (European) EMIR, MifiR, SFTR or Trade processing incl. SWIFT messaging and compliance
  • German language skills, minimum B2 (daily communication with German clients and documentation/communication in writing)
  • English language skills, minimum B2
  • Basic knowledge of investment finance (e.g. financial instruments and life cycle events, capital markets)
  • Good analytical skills and the ability to work independently
  • Experience in consulting is a strong advantage
  • Experience with system testing, configuration, documentation and sharing knowledge is an advantage
