The team
Within the Regulatory Center of Excellence we are designing solutions to enable our clients to stay compliant based on multiple regulatory requirements. We are now expanding the core NAIC Reporting team, looking for a hands-on Business Consultant.
The NAIC Reporting team provides a reporting solution for insurance clients doing business in the US with regards to regulatory requirements defined by the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC).
The position
At Regulatory Center of Excellence you will work with experienced and friendly colleagues who are experts in providing solutions and services to the SimCorp market units globally. The unique combination of market experience in the area of regulations and SimCorp Dimension expertise create an environment of quick learning.
The global reach of Regulatory Center of Excellence will give you exposure to different market units and all parts of SimCorp's internal organization. SimCorp's Regulatory Center of Excellence is providing a broad range of services including NAIC Reporting. We are looking for a Business Consultant who assumes responsibility for keeping SimCorp's solution updated in collaboration with the NAIC Reporting Team and colleagues in different SimCorp locations.
Your Responsibilities
Implementation and maintenance of configuration solutions based on SimCorp Dimension for the global insurance industry.
- Support maintenance and enhancement of SimCorp's NAIC solution in close collaboration with other team members and departments
- Analyse new and upcoming NAIC requirements and run impact assessments on SimCorp Dimension
- Participate in workshop sessions with the clients, presenting configuration enhancements, discussing new developments, gathering requirements
- Successful implementation and maintenance of our solutions for North American clients
- Create, maintain and run test cases. Verify results of reconciliation.
- Create and enhance the documentation of the NAIC solution
- On the job trainings with the clients
What we value

- An academic degree in Management, Finance, Business, Mathematics/IT, Physics or similar.
- 2+ years of experience at a financial institution, a consultancy firm, or a service provider
- Brilliant collaboration and communication skills, bridging finance and business.
- A structured and analytical mindset with a self-starter attitude.
- The ability to work just as well individually as in teams.
- A high drive, a sense of urgency, and the ability to prioritize between multiple stakeholders in a dynamic and changing global environment.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
- Willingness to work in the afternoon hours up to 20%.
- Hands-on experience with SimCorp Dimension or any other investment management software is considered an advantage.
