As our Company is transforming and growing, we are strengthening the Finance organization and the financial data foundation. To drive the journey in Finance we are expanding our Strategic Finance team with 5 ambitious project leads within IFRS, Process Excellence, Master Data, FP&A & Treasury.

These roles will play a central role in strengthening of our finance foundation allowing us to move towards a best-in-class finance organization.

Reporting to the Head of Strategic Finance you will be part of a high caliber Finance strategy execution team working closely together internally and with stakeholders across the global finance organization.

The Finance Strategy Execution Lead – IFRS & Controlling will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of the company's financial reporting and controlling strategy. This individual will work closely with the finance teams to ensure that the company's financial reporting is accurate, compliant with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and meets the needs of various stakeholders. The Finance Strategy Execution Lead will also be responsible for implementing and maintaining financial controls to ensure the integrity and reliability of the company's financial reporting.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Recommend changes, develop and implement processes to ensure compliance with IFRS standards

  • Develop an internal control framework for the internal compliance team and ensure that the group financial manual is complete and updated.

  • Develop and implement a global IFRS check list for the external reporting

  • Communicate complex financial concepts to a wide range of stakeholders

  • Lead the execution of strategic initiatives within the finance function, with focus on IFRS and controlling

  • Develop memos, e.g. impairment test memos, ISA 540 memos etc.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions

  • Act as a subject matter expert on IFRS and controlling, providing guidance, support, and training to the local finance teams as needed

WHAT WE VALUE (OUR REQUIREMENTS)

  • At least 5 years of experience from a top tier consultancy, audit firm or a similar internal role in a global company

  • Previous exposure to software development and/or investment management is a plus

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to tackle complex problems in a structured manor and break them into relevant and actionable insights

  • Highly self-driven project management, execution, and stakeholder orchestration skills

  • Excellent research, writing, listening and verbal communication capabilities

  • Great collaborative skills and ability to maneuver a large organization and form trusting relationships

  • High level of theoretical accounting and IFRS knowledge combined with solid practical experience on complex accounting matters
