Why this role is important to us

With this position, you will be joining the Product Division (PD), where you will be working with web frontend technologies used in the Investment Analytics SaaS solution, which SimCorp is currently building. Our first investment analytics backend service is well on the way. More backend services are in the pipeline and now it is time to extend the scope of the Investment Analytics SaaS solution with a modern web frontend. Therefore we are looking for experienced web frontend engineers and / or web frontend DevOps engineers to build and deploy an excellent frontend.

You will work with the following:

  • Disciplines: UX, web frontends, Design System, distributed systems, API routing via gateway/reverse proxy, caching, data-intensive applications, Infrastructure as Code, etc.
  • Technologies: Angular Typescript, Angular material, Html5, CSS, REST APIs, Azure DevOps, Pipeline scripting,  Azure Cloud etc. Nice to have: C#, .Net.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Code architecture, development and maintenance of the Investment Analytics web frontend build using Angular Typescript framework.
  • Development and maintenance of trunk-based repositories, build and maintain continuous-deployment pipelines for Angular frontends in Azure DevOps.
  • Ensuring the Investment Analytics frontend delivers business value and excellent UX to end users.
     

Who are you?

You have a DevOps mindset – we build it, we run it.

  • Good understanding of non-functional technical requirements required of a SaaS offering including the importance of automatic tests when continuously deploying code to production
  • You are highly motivated, with solid analytical, communications, and execution skills
  • You like to handle complex problems in a structured manor and break them into relevant and actionable experiments, insights, conclusions, and implementations
  • Enthusiastic about building technology driven solutions that delivers business value and excellent UX to end users
  • You are proficient in spoken and written English
  • You have an open-minded mentality and ability to connect with people
  • Experience working as software engineer in FinTech, but not mandatory
