Head of Global People Service Delivery

Then you might be our new Head of Global People Service Delivery.

Location: EMEA

The Position: Reporting to the Vice President of Global Talent and People Service Delivery, the Head of Global People Service Delivery requires a solid understanding of the employee lifecycle in order to own the delivery of unified People & Culture processes across the global business. The Head of Global People Service Delivery will manage a team of nine employees spread across various SimCorp locations globally. The aim of your team is simple: to provide a seamless, platinum level of support to the business. Your team are the face of People & Culture; the go-to for employees and business leaders when they have any questions or concerns about People processes, policies or procedures.

Your responsibilities include day-to-day leadership of the Global People Service Delivery team, including the prioritization, scoping, planning and delivery of global projects for the team, delivering and optimizing globalized processes, and securing the continuous satisfaction of SimCorp employees and managers with the People & Culture services provided. You will be asked to continuously identify opportunities to create operational excellence and ultimately implement any required changes. You’ll provide consultation and thought leadership on a range of People & Culture topics, including service delivery, compliance, master data quality, people processes and technology. You will drive culture and live SimCorp’s values in all interactions with the business, and deliver strong results with a positive, constructive and execution-oriented style.

You will be part of the leadership team in the Global Talent and People Service Delivery team and you will also be working closely with other leaders in the People & Culture Leadership Team as well as with your peers in the global advisory functions like Finance, IT, Legal, etc. in securing alignment, process satisfaction and adoption across the global business. In addition there is an opportunity for further enlarging the scope of the role by taking in additional people services in the near future.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Own, manage and deliver core employee lifecycle activities and continuous People & Culture service delivery across the global business
  • Be the key driver for People process optimization, improvements and alignment globally in close connection with People Business Partners, Compensation & Benefits, Talent & Enablement, Talent Acquisition and People Experience teams
  • Mature Business Process Owner model allowing for the expansion of functional responsibility, continuous development, global standardization and compliance of each People & Culture process
  • Execute and continuously improve annual People & Culture processes including Salary Review & Promotions, Employee Engagement Surveys, succession planning, organizational and employee changes, global mobility, etc.
  • Engage with relevant stakeholders across the organization to ensure full business input is captured to plan work, manage performance and set the team’s overall strategic direction
  • People management of the employees in the Global People Service Delivery team
  • Plan and allocate resources within available budget

Your Qualifications:

  • You have a profound understanding of employee lifecycle processes combined with a strong business process understanding
  • You have people management experience from leading a team or are keen to develop your people skills
  • You prioritize value creation and always seek solutions with a clear long-term benefit that will make life as a manager or employee at SimCorp easier
  • You understand how to enable a smooth and value adding service provision through technology
  • You hold professional experience in employee relations (labor relations) in order to provide guidance to the business in regards to grievances, compliance, labor law, etc.
  • You have worked with various cloud-based platforms earlier in your career such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle or similar and you have a solid understanding of an HRIS (business processes, roles, security, master data, reporting, configuration, etc.)

Your Skills & Competencies:

  • International mindset and experience from working with people across different countries and cultures in a global organization
  • Creative and out-of-the-box thinking while applying an analytical and logical mindset for decision making
  • Project management experience is an asset
  • Structured approach, with the ability balance and prioritize between several topics at the same time
  • Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple work streams simultaneously
  • Willingness to embrace new People & Culture technologies and changing processes
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently, in a time sensitive setting with frequent deadlines
  • Ability to handle confidential information, professionally and appropriately
  • Comfort with ambiguous situations and using judgment in the absence of specific direction
  • Highly professional manner, with the ability to interact with employees of all levels of experience and seniority, across the organization
