This is a newly created position and the People Compliance Consultant, you will serve as the primary responsible for all our employee background checks, annual re-checks and support with administration immigration support for all our foreign local hires and travelers.   

You will support the Global People & Culture Service Delivery team in facilitating critical employee lifecycle transactions in a seamless way.

As our employees are daily working with financial clients and their assets it is crucial for our business that we are always compliant with legislation and client requirements. All employees needs to go through a background check when they are hired. Compliance when working outside the home country is always very important to us. That is why we are looking for someone to support the team with this very important task. We expect you to both investigate visa requirements and ensure that the correct processes are carried out and followed up until the employee received the visa or work permit.

That is why we are looking for a dedicated and diligent colleague to take up this newly created position in our team.

Your main responsibility will be to execute administration related to background checks and immigration. Over time you will also provide consultation to employees and HR colleagues on topics relating to other areas of compliance if relevant.

Additionally, you will be asked to identify opportunities to enhance the processes you are working with and ultimately implement changes.

We see this as an opportunity to learn more about HR processes and compliance and will ensure good development opportunities in the role.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Understand and execute core employee lifecycle activities

  • Process, ensure and follow up on background checks and annual re-checks

  • Investigate immigration requirements and execute applications / work with external partner

  • Process transactions in Workday and maintain data quality

  • Work collaboratively to improve efficiency and consistently execute all HR business processes

What we value:

  • Preferably you hold a relevant Bachelor’s degree within HR, Finance, Business administration or law

  • At least 3-5  years of HR or other relevant experience

  • Experience working in a shared service set-up or supporting multiple locations

  • Preferably proficiency in Workday, HireRight, HCM Solution

  • Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple work streams simultaneously

  • High attention to detail

  • Ability to handle confidential information, professionally and appropriately

  • Proven ability to provide first-class customer service
