SimCorp is transforming the way we deliver services to our clients. We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer eager to share good practices with a team.
You will work in our global Customer Application Service (CAS) unit consisting of cross-located teams delivering high-quality testing services embedded into Configuration and Implementation test projects. CAS is a client-facing part of the SaaS Operation unit of SimCorp.
In this role, you are to investigate complex business requirements, design test strategy and test plans and support execution of test cases, conduct meetings with clients, ensure incident management and test results reporting.
What you will be responsible for:
Investigate and understand implementation project artifacts
Formulate/review test strategy and test plans
Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases
Monitor and control prepared test case execution
Provide incident management and risk assessment
Collaborate closely with Clients, SimCorp business units and product development
Perform monitoring of team capacity, task estimations and re-planning of projects to keep deadline
What we value:
Degree/master's within Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Economics, Physics, Maths
Knowledge of software implementation project processes, Software Testing Life Cycle, incident management, standard test deliverables (testing certification e.g. ISTQB or equivalent is a plus)
Significant experience in a testing role working on complex systems ideally within a financial domain (preferable SimCorp Dimension)
Good English (min. B2)
Understanding of the Lean-Agile practices and frameworks
