Why this role is important to us:

​Accountants are finance professionals who ensure that business transactions are captured and booked accordingly. The Accountant has a basic understanding of accounting practices and is responsible for booking according to global policies and local GAAP. The Accountant will be specialized in customer contract set up and updating contracts in the ERP system for entities across the Group. Regardless of the specific duties assigned, the Accountant is responsible for the accurate and timely booking of transactions which are the basis of our internal and external reporting activities.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in set-up of new customers contracts across the SimCorp Group
  • Review and help modifying existing customer contracts ensuring correct revenue reporting and other revenue KPIs
  • Ensuring accurate finance master data
  • Perform other accounting tasks
  • Assists with invoicing and cash collection

What we value:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience working within an accounting team in a similar role
  • Must be at an intermediate level in Excel (e.g., pivot tables, V-lookups)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills – will be expected to communicate with all departments across various levels of seniority
  • Excellent analytical skill
  • Good educational background
  • Experience working with Workday is a plus
  • Knowledge of IFRS 15 is a plus
