Rewards Manager or Head of Rewards

Location: Copenhagen - Headquarters, DK; Warsaw, PL

WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US

Embedded into our Global People & Culture team, you will be responsible for leading the Global Reward team working closely with colleagues in our People, Finance, leadership teams across the organization, including C-level management teams.  

Apart from owning the Rewards remit globally for SimCorp you’ll also have an important role working with the wider People and Culture team in developing our People Experience, Employer Branding and what we want to be known for as an employer.

This role would suit an existing Reward Manager or Lead Rewards Specialist looking for their next step, leveraging existing experience and focusing on scaling reward concepts globally, while at the same time being interested in growing and learning new elements of the People & Culture area You need to value both the strategic and operational aspects of the role, as on the one hand you would be expected to design competitive reward concepts and strategies and on the other, shouldn’t be afraid to engage and get involved in its implementation. The accountability of the team will include global salary review, variable pay including bonuses and commission, benchmarking, benefits, and recognition.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Developing the company’s global reward strategy that promotes the recruitment and retention of a diverse and inclusive talent pool to set us apart; understanding the risks and opportunities that exist now and anticipates what will be needed in the future.

  • Conducting a global review of the wider market and market trends on reward and recognition and advising on use of the data to form our reward strategy.

  • Reviewing our pay for performance approach, programs and tools to maximize value and return to our employee group.

  • Leveraging technology via our HRIS (Workday), to support, evolve and enhance user experience of all reward processes.

  • Benchmarking and job analysis, partnering with our People Business Partners to review job grading across SimCorp, implementing the platform so we can keep things simple, easy to understand and navigate as we accelerate our grow.

  • Overseeing external reporting including diversity (currently including gender pay and ethnicity pay) and providing subject matter expertise to the narrative and action planning around our pay story.


WHAT WE VALUE (OUR REQUIREMENTS)

  • Desire to grow & develop.

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and related extensive Compensation & Benefits experience.

  • Experience from a global technology company or financial background would be an advantage.

  • Excellent analytical, project management, interpersonal skills.

  • Fluent in English both written and verbal.

  • Advanced analytical skills using Excel with the ability to convey messages in a compelling way using PowerPoint presentations or similar; experience with Workday would be a plus.

  • Experience of creating and delivering a company rewards and benefits plan ideally across multiple countries.
