Why is this role important to us? 

The Senior Business Content Owner, specializing in middle and back-office operations, plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between our advanced financial tools and the end-users.

The primary responsibility of this position is to develop and create comprehensive training materials tailored for middle and back-office operations. These materials are designed to facilitate the learning process for our teams and clients, ensuring they are fully equipped to utilize our financial tools efficiently and effectively. Through the creation of dynamic and up-to-date training content, this role contributes to the continuous improvement and innovation within our operational processes. This forward-thinking approach is key to staying ahead in a competitive and ever-evolving industry. 


What will you be responsible for? 

  • Create, develop, and update comprehensive training materials specifically tailored for middle and back-office operations. This involves ensuring the content is relevant, up-to-date, and effectively bridges the gap between complex financial tools and their practical applications. 

  • Continuously assess and improve our training content processes. This involves staying abreast of the latest industry practices and technological advancements to incorporate into our operations, thereby enhancing efficiency and effectiveness. 

  • Provide expert knowledge and consultation on various aspects of financial operations, including trade processing, corporate actions, and cash and collateral management using our software solutions. 

  • Maintaining and updating training materials and providing expert consultation on cash and collateral management. 

  • Work alongside development teams to ensure that our software accurately reflects current practices and regulations in areas such as corporate actions and trade processing. 


What do we value (our requirements)? 

  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written  

  • 2-5 years of experience in training facilitation, preferably in financial services or investment management. 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Education, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in finance or investment management are highly desirable. 

  • Solid foundation in financial concepts, market dynamics, and investment strategies. 

  • Proficiency in lesson planning, content delivery, and participant engagement in a financial context. 

  • Capability to conduct product training for SimCorp clients, focusing on financial applications and use-cases. 


Additional expertise (considered as a plus): 

  • Certifications like CFA, FRM, or similar credentials in the finance sector. 

  • In-depth understanding of the financial regulatory environment and compliance issues. 

  • Experience with financial analysis tools, investment management software, and technology in finance. 

  • Skills in using technology for effective training delivery in finance-specific topics. 

  • Advanced degree (Masters or PhD) in Finance, Business, Education, or related field.
