Why this role is important to us

The North American Presales team works on the front lines and engages with prospective and existing clients to improve and enhance their software solutions and services and support good outcomes for everyone.

We are looking for a Senior Presales Consultant that will work closely with the Sales and Account Management teams to understand the client need and requirements and provide high quality ABOR demos to prospective clients. The Senior Presales Consultant is a trusted advisor to prospects, assisting them make optimal decisions about their ABOR solution design. The role involves the ability to effectively communicate our value proposition to senior decision makers.

You will analyze complex requirements and contribute to multi-facet ABOR (investment/fund accounting) demos.

As an industry expert, you will guide our prospects by conveying the power of the ABOR solutions in SimCorp Dimension from an international perspective. You will deal with aspects such as regulatory changes, globalization, and consolidation.

What you will be responsible for

Analyzing the prospect's workflows and requirements and translate those into SimCorp solutions

  • Providing and review RFP answers

  • Delivering SimCorp Dimension presentations, workshops, and proof-of-concepts

  • Effectively communicate the benefits and value of SimCorp's solutions to prospective clients

  • Obtaining a thorough understanding of SimCorp's sales model and relevant processes

  • Maintaining knowledge of SimCorp's product and service portfolio

  • Sharing expertise in overall functionalities of the solution

What we value (our requirements)

  • 2-5 years relevant industry experience; ABOR experience strongly preferred

  • Knowledge of the relevant North American Accounting standards (e.g.  IFRS, US GAAP, US STAT, US TAX)

  • Knowledge of SimCorp Dimension preferred

  • Excellent communication and analytical skills

  • Previous sales experience a plus

  • Flexibility to travel within the US and Canada as needed and upon short notice (travel requirement of approximately 30%)
