The position
SimCorp is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Global Senior Sales Operations Specialist who will work closely with the business (local market units) and collaborate with other global functions, such as IT, Finance and HR, to implement the global Commission Framework, Target setting process and Performance Management tools for SimCorp globally. 

The Global Senior Revenue Operations Specialist’s primary objective is to own (plan and implement) the commission framework design and processes related to the commission framework such as target setting and special incentives.

This is a highly visible role within Commercial, reporting directly to the Head of Revenue Operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for design and implementation of the global commission framework and make recommendations to optimize design, processes, or policies to maximize sales incentive structure.
  • Responsible for seamless commission framework processes throughout the year by working closely with the sales leader, HR and finance to establish and maintain sales compensation plans that provide market-competitive pay, reinforce sales organization strategy and align with the commercial organization objectives.
  • Responsible for implementing the commission framework in our CRM system (Salesforce) together with IT.
  • Ensure SimCorp’s financial objectives are optimally allocated to all sales channels and resources.
  • Ensure targets are allocated in a timely manner for sales rep motivation.
  • Develop dashboards and reports in our CRM system (Salesforce) to ensure visibility in performance tracking/quota retirement.
  • Design and improve processes and procedures for our sales incentive tools and systems.
  • Monitor sales work performance with the sales leader, HR and finance to validate the compensation plan and forecast sales expense.

Your qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Relevant education and experience in sales operations (or equivalent functions, such as revenue operations, commercial operations).
  • Experience in sales quota and compensation plan design.
  • Project Management experience.
  • Demonstrated success in the analysis, design and improvement of sales processes.
  • Experience working with data and analytics.
  • Ability to work effectively in virtual teams.
  • Self-motivated and determined to deliver high-quality and exceed expectations.
  • Great people skills – ability to talk to all kinds of stakeholders.
  • Has excellent time management and planning skills.
  • Experience working with Salesforce.
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written).
