Why this role is important to us

Agile ways of working are key for SimCorp’s success. In our Product Organization we have 75 agile teams located in Austria, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Poland, Ukraine and UK. In your role as a Scrum Master you will be responsible for two agile teams.

What you will be responsible for

  • Fulfil he role as it is defined by the Scrum Guide and based on the Agile Manifesto
  • Ensure agility and excellent deliveries 
  • Balance the role of agile leader and execution responsible
  • Be an active player of the Scrum of Scrums team focused on the impediments removal process
  • Drive an agile mindset and high-quality standards across teams and the organization in collaboration with the other Scrum Masters and RTEs
  • Foster a learning and improvement culture
  • Contribute to organizing events such as un-conferences, SimCorp’s Agile Coach Camps, Scrum Days and Software Engineering Days

You will also be an active member of our Scrum Master Community of Practice, sharing experiences, facilitating and helping your peers to grow.

What we value: 

  • Work experience as a Scrum Master, ideally from the software/IT industry and an international environment
  • passion about creating an environment of trust and great dynamics where people perform their best and work together as a team, where people have fun while delivering and where they are confident in raising impediments and issues 
  • knowledge the fundamentals of iterative and incremental development as well as the various agile and lean processes and methodologies and know when to apply the various techniques to provide value to a team
  • understanding the fundamentals of software development processes and procedures
  • Excellent English skills
