Why this role is important to us
Agile ways of working are key for SimCorp’s success. In our Product Organization we have 75 agile teams located in Austria, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Poland, Ukraine and UK. In your role as a Scrum Master you will be responsible for one or two agile teams in the OTC Core Product Area where we are growing very actively, so you will be a part of a dynamic environment where you will be helping to onboard new team members and establishing new teams.
What you will be responsible for
Fulfil the role as it is defined by the Scrum Guide and based on the Agile Manifesto
Ensure agility and excellent outcomes
Balance the role of agile leader and execution responsible
Help colleagues across multiple product areas, solving dependencies and impediments through clear and transparent communication
Drive an agile mindset and high-quality standards across teams and the organization in collaboration with the other Scrum Masters and Release Engineers
Foster a learning and improvement culture
Contribute to organizing events such as un-conferences, SimCorp’s Agile Coach Camps, Scrum Days and Software Engineering Days
You will also be an active member of our Scrum Master Community of Practice, sharing experiences, facilitating and helping your peers to grow.
What we value
Work experience as a Scrum Master, ideally from the software/IT industry and an international environment
passion about creating an environment of trust and great dynamics where people perform their best and work together as a team, where people have fun while delivering and where they are confident in raising impediments and issues
knowledge about the fundamentals of iterative and incremental development as well as the various agile and lean processes and methodologies and knowing when to apply the various techniques to provide value to a team
understanding the fundamentals of software development processes and procedures
Excellent English skills
