The position 

As our new Senior Software Engineer, you will joinSimCorp’sProduct Division, a full-scale agile organization. You will be working in an agile team of about 5-7 people. The team works on building new Web UI for SimCorp Dimension product. In your daily work you willtogether with your team - understand and challenge customer requirements, discuss solutions, implement and test the chosen solution, and support it. You will mainly work with the new web UI frontend and middle layer, but it is important to understand and be able to work with the backend and APIs.

Your qualifications and values 

Most importantly, you can see yourself contribute and thrive in the position described above. How you gained the skills needed for doing that is less important. You may be a recent graduate from an IT education, or you have another relevant background.  

We expect you to know some of the following and be able to - and interested in - learning the rest.   


  • Working experience with JavaScript/Typescript HTML5 and CSS3 

  • Hands on experience with Angular/Node.js, 3-5 years 

  • Must have knowledge of API communication layer (REST, GraphQL, web socket, etc) 

  • Hands on with any unit testing framework (Junit, Mockito, JEST, etc) 

  • Good to have knowledge on Ag-Grid, DevExtreme 

  • C# and .NET framework 

  • Good to have experience in performance tuning of application 

  • Development with Agile framework is preferrable 

  • Test driven development knowledge 

  • Experience of working in an Azure environment 

  • Practical experience within financial instruments and financial investment systems is of course an advantage, but not a prerequisite for the job. It is more important that you take an interest in learning this field. We will bring you up to speed using technical and domain discussions, training, and a comprehensive onboarding program.
