Senior Software Engineer
The challenge and the team
Become part of a strategically important business area - “Everything as a Service” (XaaS) in our XD (XaaS Delivery) unit – supporting our clients on technical challenges around the world. We have a diverse team based in Copenhagen with 4 different nationalities, but we are expanding to other locations. This is a one in a lifetime opportunity for a senior specialist who is interested in frontend (Angular) development.
As a (senior) full-stack developer in one of our DevOps teams, you will participate in servicing and supporting some of the largest clients in the global financial sector in the operation of their SimCorp applications with our “as-a-service” solution.
You will be part of a Scrum team responsible for providing self-service applications to the client/end-users. You will contribute to grow and automate the solution on Azure, investigation and prototyping new frontend solutions and framework where you will work closely with the Scrum team (Product Owner, Scrum Master, Developers (including software engineers and UX/UI designer)) to refine requirements.

In addition to the above, we are looking for a candidate with the following experience and competencies:
- .Net and C#
- General Cloud(Azure) Architecture
- SQL server knowledge
- Further, it would be a bonus to have experience with:
- Angular and TypeScript
- Experience with HTML and CSS
- Service and cooperative mindset
You will be using multiple technologies, and your responsibilities will also include:
- Participate actively in Scrum events and help plan how the team best fulfil its goals, including the definition of done each sprint
- Work with product owner and other developers to refine new features
- Develop core functionality to support the business modules
- Maintain the existing code base
- Be part of reviewing product code and formulate test scenarios
- Constantly learning and developing yourself, the team and our product
- Build and maintain solutions optimizing performance and maintainability
- Actively participate in knowledge sharing
- Exploring new technologies and evaluating new solutions
