Why this role is important to us
High-quality, performing, secure, and cost-effective software is at the core of what we do. To build and maintain this software, software engineers are essential to us.
You will be working in an agile team of about 5-7 people. The team improves and supports the Asset Manager module in our SimCorp Dimension product. We use a variety of technologies, but the main ones are Angular and Node.js. The present and near future main topics are good maintainability, high system performance, continuous integration, and delivery, and moving into our unified platform for cloud.
What you will be responsible for
In your daily work, you will collaborate with your team to:
- Design & development of industry leading web-based enterprise software system. The focus of development will be towards building rich User Interfaces and backend integration
- Understanding business requirements and designing solution which meet requirement
- Production of technical design specifications, unit test plan documentation and execution
- Providing technical support (when necessary) to Production and UAT systems.
- Understanding how our applications operate, are structured/integrated/deployed
- Effectively communicate with all stakeholders
- Team player – willing to work as part of team as well as individual contributor

- Working experience with JavaScript/Typescript HTML5 and CSS3
- Hands on experience with Angular/Node.js, 3-5 years
- Must have knowledge of API communication layer (REST, GraphQL, web socket, etc)
- Hands on with any unit testing framework (Junit, Mockito, JEST, etc)
- Good to have knowledge on Ag-Grid, DevExtreme
- Good to have experience in performance tuning of application
- Development with Agile framework is preferrable
- Test driven development knowledge
