Platform leadership, SaaS acceleration and Ecosystem scaling are the 3 growth levers of SimCorp 2025 strategy and PaaS Operations plays a crucial role in this transformation journey by delivering excellence in client services by executing a reliable, predictable, cost-effective operations service. As a platform and technology operations team, we also aspire to execute acceleration in standard processes to assist in the growth and efficiency of SimCorp’s SaaS business.

Why this is important to us

Your main mission will consist in advising and assisting the Clients IT operations of SimCorp Dimension mainly using your technical skills providing services for but not limited to Application Administration, Oracle skills, Batch processing, System Monitoring and assist Clients SimCorp Dimension Upgrades/Patches.

You will be handling the operation of SimCorp Dimension interfaces, service platform and environments including monitoring and the management of file systems, operating systems and virtualization software.

Based in Manila you will support clients remotely - including direct client contact. You will participate in all aspects of operating SimCorp Dimension and will work closely with clients’ technical teams as well as technical experts in SimCorp globally to provide comprehensive solutions for the customers.

What you will be responsible for

  • You are responsible for delivering technical operational services to Clients SimCorps clients

    • Monitoring system and Batch Job processes

    • Apply patches and new configuration

    • Incident & Problem Management

    • Change Management Process

  • You support the client operations of SimCorp Dimension with technical best practice recommendations

  • You are part of a global Technical Services Delivery network

  • You advice on process improvements through better operations of SimCorp Dimension

  • You participate in operational meetings with clients for technical issues and escalate critical information/issues to your management

  • Engage directly with Clients

What we value

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or Economics

  • Experience with operating standard applications necessary in the financial sector

  • High Technical knowledge ideally from a larger IT department or operational Team 

  • Technical skills like Oracle Administration, PL/SQL, XML/XSL, Windows Server Administration or Virtualization (VMWare, Citrix)

  • Sound basic or extensive knowledge of the financial services industry and securities gained from work experience in the financial sector and interest to extend this

  • Very Service-minded and have a positive mindset

  • You like to work in an environment where things go fast and where you have a great impact on the achieved results and solutions

  • Strong analytical skills and a solution-focused attitude

  • Ability to prioritize tasks, to ensure deadlines are achieved

  • You are result-oriented

  • Good team-working skills
