Service Delivery Principal

Location: Copenhagen - Headquarters, DK

Service Delivery Principals are highly skilled senior professionals (+10 years) who form part of our Client Services team working with Customers utilizing our Platform as a Service offering.

The main purpose of the role is to contribute to the effective support and maintenance of SimCorp clients and to all aspects of service delivery around SimCorp Dimension Platform Services.
Service Delivery Principals support our clients by providing best practice market solutions and deploying services related to the usage of SimCorp Dimension platform and beyond. They act as trusted advisors to our clients and instruct and coach less experienced professionals.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Analyze problems and issues which occur in SimCorp Dimension platform fully independently to provide convincing and timely solutions to our clients
  • Advise and service our clients fully independently by providing best practice market solutions related to the usage of SimCorp Dimension Platform and beyond with regards to business-related, technical, or legal requirements to ensure that the clients use SimCorp Dimension Platform in an optimal, future-oriented way
  • Deliver consultancy and support single-handedly on a wide range of topics for the Platform Support and address issues in new areas of expertise to provide ad-hoc answers and solutions
  • Develop and implement automation and other optimization of the SimCorp Dimension platform
  • Contribute to wider decision-making including the development of practices, standards and procedures, and provide input to the strategic direction of the function
  • Plan and conduct the technical and non-technical part of software upgrades for SimCorp Dimension and support release tests to ensure a smooth transition to the latest version of SimCorp Dimension
  • Co-operate closely with other professionals within SimCorp on a local or global level by way of specialist to share knowledge and ensure efficient solutions for the clients
  • Contribute to knowledge transfer by conducting training or ad-hoc coaching and develop new trainings to ensure the clients use the software in an optimal way
  • Acts as a Thought Leader and guide clients to best practice use of SimCorp Dimension Platform
  • Use technical expertise, business understanding and superior influencing skills to ensure an optimum solution across our client base

Desired Skills

  • Experience with infrastructure services 
  • Experience with SimCorp Dimension or other large financial services software products 
  • Knowledge of security requirement 
  • Oracle Database  
  • Daily operations and problem solving of monitoring platforms like OEM, middleware and interfacing, file systems, and database. 
  • Experienced with DB management, high availability, RMAN, data warehouse, and sizing 
  • Understand mission-critical applications and HA environments. 
  • Problem analysis and issue resolution of known systemic errors. 
  • Assess requirements; Identify services or products to improve operations. 
  • Participate in domain teams and contribute to operational maturity/knowledge creation 
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
