We do this through IT systems, processes, and financial knowledge. Implementing our software by way of high-quality projects at the core of what we do. To introduce our software to our clients, business consultants are essential to us.

You will be working in the APAC Professional Services team who aim to deliver customer success via advisory and outcome-based services. The team contributes to projects in one or more process domains in the Investment Service Line. These include Strategic investment planning, Front Office, Risk, Compliance and Performance Management. It includes all tasks related to the delivery of functional solutions based on SimCorp Dimension. You will own tasks throughout the implementation phases of SimCorp Dimension. You will be a trusted advisor to the clients and help enable them to reach their desired outcomes.

What you will be responsible for

  • Contributing to all aspects of SimCorp Dimension implementation projects

  • Leading workstreams covering all required tasks, dependencies and time/resource estimation

  • Mapping to SimCorp Dimension functions and processes; designing and configuring a customized solution

  • Assisting the client in developing an overall test strategy, test plans, and in the execution of test cases

  • Facilitation workshops to gather requirements for new and existing clients

  • Mentoring, coaching, and helping colleagues to secure the project deliveries

  • Efficient consulting and project management skills

  • Hands on experience in implementing and configuring SimCorp Dimension

  • Knowledge of financial instruments or the asset management business and processes

  • Know-how in at least two of the following areas:

    • Portfolio Management

    • Trading and Order Management

    • Compliance, Regulatory and internal restrictions

    • Regulatory topics such as Solvency II (incl. ORSA)

    • Performance measurement and attribution

    • Risk management (market and liquidity)

    • Instrument valuation and analytics (theoretical pricing)

  • FRM, CFA, CIPM or other relevant certifications/designations

  • Enthusiasm to learn.

  • Desire to act as a mentor and coach to less experienced colleagues.

  • Independent and analytical way of working

  • Having a team spirit and a desire to share your knowledge.

  • Strong communication and consulting skills

  • High degree of commercial awareness, customer orientation and quality consciousness

  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability

  • Good English as it is our corporate language and is used in all communications.

  • Cantonese language skills are an advantage.

  • Flexibility to travel.

Experience required:

  • Hands on experience in implementing and configuring SimCorp Dimension

  • 8+ years of working within investment management either with an asset manager, asset owner or vendor preferably in a functional or technical operational role

  • Evidence of participating in change management of systems and/or processes that centre around the SimCorp Dimension platform.
