To further support this journey, we're expanding our Corporate Strategy Development function and are now recruiting for a student assistant to join our team.
This role will support our strategic analysis and problem-solving capability and is expected to deliver important insights and decision support to executive management.
The role reports to the Global Head of Strategy and will be part of a small high caliber team working with stakeholders across all parts of the organization.
Your primary tasks will be:
Assist the Corporate strategy processes
Prepare effective presentation and decision materials
Support and execute various kinds of strategic analyses to inform company decision making
Conduct research to develop insights about SimCorp’s competitive landscape, including M&A activity, and the key trends and forces impacting it
Assist a varied range of strategic initiatives and business reviews across all business areas
Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to address business improvement opportunities
You are enrolled in a relevant education (e.g. MSc Business Administration, Economics, or similar) in the last year of your bachelor or first year of your master’s degree
You are highly self-driven, with strong analytical, communications, and execution skills
You have experience with creating engaging presentations and communications material
You like to tackle complex problems in a structured manor and break them into relevant and actionable insights
You have had some exposure to business disciplines such as strategy, transformation, and innovation
You are highly proficient in spoken and written English
You have a profound expertise in the Microsoft Office suite
You have an open-minded mentality and ability to connect with people
Knowledge about software development and/or investment management and change management is an advantage
