Consolidation and transformation: From surviving to thriving

UBS, Gulf International Bank and Accenture discuss the challenges and lessons learnt from recent system consolidation projects.

Disruption is putting increased pressure on investment management firms. A “wait and see” approach and work-arounds are no longer viable options as margins are squeezed and the competition is innovating. Talking points include:

  • Trends across the industry – quick fixes or strategic vision?
  • Drivers to consolidate the operations and IT infrastructure across business lines. Why now?
  • Challenges and lessons learnt from real-life cross-functional consolidation projects
  • Vision and objectives: short term gains and long-term benefits
