Equipos (now SimCorp Coric), the leading global supplier of client communications and client reporting solutions, has been named ‘Best Front Office Solution’ at the inaugural WealthBriefing Awards 2013 ceremony in London.
The awards, organized by ClearView Financial Media and presented by BBC newsreader Sophie Raworth at the Royal Courts of Justice in London, recognize innovation and excellence in the global private banking, wealth management and trusted advisor communities.
According to Stephen Harris, WealthBriefing’s Publisher and Managing Director of ClearView, “These awards, judged by an independent panel of eminent wealth management practitioners from global financial institutions, are unique in that they focus solely on the client experience, not quantitative performance metrics. They recognize the very best operators in the private client industry.”
“Equipos (now SimCorp Coric) impressed the judges by the high quality of its offering. The firm sets very high standards, promoting best practice in the industry through thought leadership, and running feedback meetings that are chaired by clients – a real sign that Equipos (now SimCorp Coric) takes its clients very seriously,” said Harris.
Commenting on the firm’s triumph Alan Hamilton, CEO, Equipos (now SimCorp Coric) said: "We are delighted to have won this prestigious award judged by so many highly regarded industry experts. Historically considered a back office solution, client reporting has become a front office concern in the private wealth sector due to the significant impact it can have on client experience. Equipos (now SimCorp Coric) has a strong and growing base of wealth management clients in the UK, and is beginning to make inroads into this sector in North America. ”
This award follows the Waters Buy-Side Technology “Best Client Reporting Platform” award, which Equipos (now SimCorp Coric) won for the second time in November 2012, and the American Financial Technology “Best Client Reporting Initiative” accolade that was awarded to Equipos (now SimCorp Coric) client Northern Trust in December 2012.
