Equipos (now SimCorp) Coric Scoops Top Wealth Management Award for Second Year Running

Equipos Coric (now SimCorp Coric), the leading global client communications and client reporting solution, has been named ‘Best Front Office Solution’ for the second consecutive year at the WealthBriefing Awards 2014 ceremony in London. These awards showcase ‘best of breed’ providers in the global private banking, wealth management and trusted advisor communities.

Acquired in March 2014 by Danish investment management software provider SimCorp, Equipos was deemed by the prestigious judging panel to have demonstrated ‘innovation and excellence’ in delivering outstanding client experience to the wealth management sector. Sophie Raworth, the highly acclaimed BBC newsreader and journalist, presented the award to Equipos (now SimCorp) at the glittering black-tie awards ceremony held at the Guildhall in London on May 15 2014.

According to Stephen Harris, CEO at ClearView Financial Media and Publisher of WealthBriefing, “These awards are judged solely on the basis of entrants’ submissions, and their response to a number of specific questions, which focus on client experience rather than quantitative performance metrics.  They recognize the very best operators in the private client industry, with ‘independence’, ‘integrity’ and ‘genuine insight’ the watchwords of the judging process.”

Harris continues: “Equipos (now SimCorp) impressed the judges with the high quality of its offering.  The firm runs one of the largest dedicated client communications and client reporting conferences in the UK, attracting more than 100 senior executives from global wealth and asset management organizations. This clearly demonstrates Equipos’ (now SimCorp) continued contribution to thought leadership to the industry.”

Commenting on the firm’s triumph Klaus Andersen, Managing Director at Equipos (now SimCorp) and Senior Vice President at SimCorp, said: "Client reporting has in the past been considered a back office function, but it is now a front office concern in the private wealth sector due to the significant impact it can have on client experience. To win this award once is a great achievement. To win it two years running is a terrific honor and is testament to the hard work of the entire Coric team. ”
