Programme Overview
The SimCorp Dimension Academy is a comprehensive training programme encompassing the core concepts inherent in each functional area within finance, inclusive of front-office, middle-office and back-office functions. The Academy focuses on the functionality, procedures and necessary tools for implementing and integrating SimCorp Dimension.
The objective of the course is to equip participants with standard implementation tools, provide an overview of the SimCorp Dimension implementation process, and build up the participants’ competence to optimally adopt SimCorp Dimension in daily tasks.
The Academy is a three-week , full-time training programme. The first two weeks incorporate financial and technical principles within the SimCorp Dimension environment. The training alternates between instructor presentations and hands-on exercises. Participants are then expected to complete a one-week implementation project assignment. The course ends with a 3-hour certification exam.

Students work in pairs with a case study over 4 days.
The work is done in a Best Practice Simcorp Dimension installation.
Trainers provide support, but students are encouraged to apply the knowledge they have learned during the first 9 days of Academy on their own. The teams prepare a presentation on a selected topic on the last assignment day. The presentations serve as a “recap” on topics learned.
