The purpose of this course is to give you general knowledge about key financial accounting functions/workflows in SimCorp Dimension.

Key learning objectives

• Master the utilization of the operating system's built-in tools and concepts within the SimCorp Dimension environment.

• Understand transaction lifecycle and static data as the primary data source for precise calculations of the accounting accrued interest and financial key ratios.

• Learn Accounting holdings and frameworks concepts for portfolio valuation and other accounting calculations across reporting regulations.

• Acquire mapping and troubleshooting skills in the General Ledger Configuration module.

• Learn holdings reconciliation and Period Closure functionalities to manage transaction data consistency and accuracy within SimCorp Dimension.
