This blended learning journey provides a comprehensive overview of the pricing and valuation functionality of SimCorp Dimension as well as the essential underlying mathematical concepts and techniques for fixed income and derivative instruments.  

Learning journey design: 

• 1 x 1h virtual kick - off session: Introduction to the Learning Journey plan, overview of the eLearning content and how to study it. 

• 4 x 3h Instructor-led workshops: During the virtual workshops the instructor will briefly review the main concepts, walk learners through Excel hands-on exercises, address questions from the learners, and possibly show demonstrations in a SimCorp Dimension installation hosted by Education Services. The workshops will primarily focus on theoretical concepts and provide a deep dive into the subject matter. While there will be opportunities for discussion and application, the emphasis will be on understanding the underlying mathematical methodologies. The workshops will be scheduled once per week, allowing learners to study the online materials in advance of a given session.  

• Self-paced online learning materials: Learners will receive access to SimCorp Online Platform to study the self-paced course curriculum. Access will be provided after the kick- off session and will remain active for 3 months, allowing you to review the content and apply your learning. 

Target audience: 

This course is designed for individuals who want to develop a strong foundation in fixed income and derivative valuation without delving into complex topics like volatility modeling or reconciliation processes.
