Course Description:

If you’re looking to gain a deeper understanding of fund administration and improve your efficiency, this course is for you. The main focus of this intermediate course is to learn the key concepts and configuration elements to be able to confidently use related Dimension components and build the Fund Administration workflow independently

By attending this course, you will gain a deep understanding of both fundamental and advanced concepts in fund administration. You will master the setup of funds and NAV calculations and learn how to efficiently manage fund events using the Straight-Through-Processing flow. Additionally, you will explore market data validation and fund & portfolio service cost events in greater detail, equipping you with the essential expertise needed for portfolio administration and the confidence to process related workflows.

• Fund Administration concept: Gain a solid foundation in the principles and practices of Fund Administration.
• Fund figures calculation and the NAV workflow: Learn the key components and methodologies for accurate figures calculations.
• Fund STP flow: Discover how to efficiently manage and operate workflow events within the Fund Administration Manager using the STP flow.
• Market data validation, service costs, exception handling, fund calendars, and optional events: Understand the purpose, setup process, and operational significance of these critical events.

Pre-requisites:

Pre-requisites are the course 'Introduction in SimCorp Dimension' or practical experience in the system. The participants don't need financial accounting background.
