Forthcoming regulatory changes for asset management

In the context of the Solvency II Review, EIOPA and the European Commission launched several activities in 2025 which are relevant to the asset management under the Solvency II framework:
- Pillar 1: Publication of a draft Solvency II Delegated Regulation, updating Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2015/35, and initiation of a feedback request on the draft.
- Pillar 3 Consultation on ”supervisory reporting and public disclosure requirements under Solvency II” (EIOPA-BoS-25/223).
These activities are the basis for the forthcoming regulatory changes, which are expected to come into force at beginning of 2027.
