Corporate Actions (CA), though often routine, carry the potential to disrupt portfolios, impact valuations, and introduce compliance risks. Our course introduces you to the Corporate Actions Manager (CAM) solution in SimCorp Dimension, designed to streamline and automate the end-to-end processing of corporate actions. From event monitoring and static data creation to elections, instructions, and settlement confirmations, you’ll explore how the solution supports operational teams in managing corporate actions with confidence and control.

Key Learning Objectives:

- Corporate Actions Manager: Learn how to use CAM settings and usability options to configure a setup that meets your business requirements.  
- CA SWIFT Messaging: Identify and understand SWIFT message types used throughout CA workflow and their processing in SCD.
- CA events processing: Differentiate workflows for mandatory, voluntary, and mandatory with choice events and process various CA events using CAM.

Target Audience:
This course is designed for SimCorp Dimension users in the Operations area but will be beneficial for all SCD users interested in corporate actions functionality.  

Pre-requisites:
- Successful completion of SimCorp One Academy
- At least 6 months of hands-on experience with SCD, particularly in Asset Servicing and Transactions Processing.
- Basic understanding of corporate actions business impact and workflow, as well as SWIFT messaging and Communication Service roles.
