While the system automates many calculations, a deep understanding of underlying principles of Adjustment Operations, General Ledger and Straight- Through Processing will empower you to elevate your work to new heights.

• Financial Accounting functions and workflows: Master the built-in tools and concepts within the SimCorp Dimension environment.
• Transaction lifecycle and static data: Understand transaction lifecycle and static data as the primary data source for accounting valuation and calculations.
• Accounting holdings and frameworks concepts: Get to know accounting holdings and frameworks concepts for portfolio valuation and other accounting calculations across reporting regulations.
• General ledger: Learn general ledger configuration windows and map new cost account. Understand the general ledger export process and monitor g/l accounts in the View G/l Holdings window.
• Holdings reconciliation and period closure: Learn holdings reconciliation and period closure functionality to manage transaction data consistency and accuracy within SimCorp Dimension.
